STUDENT LIFE

Afternoons and Evenings: Non class room time, designed to give students the opportunity to find employment or get involved in the various Church outreaches. Services at New life Bible Church are Sunday at 10:30am and Wednesdays at 7pm. Students are required to attend both services.

 


   //OUTREACHES

Students will be required to participate in the various outreaches that New Life Bible Church and New Life Bible College are involved with. These outreaches include the Soup Kitchen, Bread Of Life, Community Outreach and Missions. These are great opportunities for anyone looking to go into full-time ministry, allowing you to develop the experience needed to excel in ministry.

SOUP KITCHEN

The “Soup Kitchen” provides meals to those in need everyday, 365 days a year. It is a vital part of the original vision and call Brother Hayes has on his life. Students are required to participate in serving food, washing tables and various other tasks.

 

BREAD OF LIFE

The bread of Life outreach is also a part of Brother Hayes' orignal vision for NLBC. During this outreach representatives of the ministry go door to door providing food, encouragement, and prayer for the needy of our community. We have recieved countless testimonies o flives changed through salvation, healing, deliverance, and Holy Spirit baptism.


COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We reach out to our community in many different ways. We host community festivals, sidewalk sunday schools, & conduct services in area nursing homes. This are all opportunities for students to share there God given talents & anointing with hungry, hurting, desperate people.


MISSIONS

New Life Bible College Gives students the opportunity to participate in missions trips. Such as our yearly Marti Gras ourtreach, trips to mexico, South America, Haiti, & Jamaica. The funding for these trips are the responsibilty of the individual student, but the experience is life changing.

 

   //ACTIVITIES

Throughout the School year there will be various social activities held by the student body. These activities and fundraisers will be based on the students themselves and the elected Student Council. Activities over the previous years have ranged from bowling, camping and Gladiator Contests. These are bond-building activities that will allow a time of fellowship and the development of relationships that will last a lifetime.

 


 HOUSING

Students are responsible to provide their own housing. Please make arrangements prior to your arrival at school.

//NEW LIFE LODGE

PRICING
Private Room: $300.00 a Month/ $75 non refundable deposit.
Semi-Private: $180.00 a Month / $50.00 non refundable deposit.
Rent is due by the 5th of the month.

ROOM AMENITIES
Rooms: Bunk beds, dresser & a desk.
Bathroom: Tub, shower, sink, toilet.

WHAT TO BRING
Students are responsible for: bed linens, Comforters, pillows, bath linens.
Students are welcome to bring: TV, stereo, Computer, small microwave
coffee maker, small dorm room refrigerator.

LODGE FACILITIES
Laundry facility: located on the premises. Students are responsible for their
own detergent and fabric softener. The price is 50¢ per load.

Kitchen facility: Furnished with pots, pans, silverware, glasses, dishes, & appliances. Each student is responsible for their own food. There are no meals provided. The students will have their own cabinet with a lock and they will also share a refrigerator with other students.

Fellowship Room: Cable TV, DVD player, fireplace, & pool table.

There are no pets allowed. New Life Bible College Code of Conduct extends to all ministry properties Additional Rules will be provided at the time of check-in after meeting with Lodge Directors
